Interview with The Shend of the Cravats
Here's an interview conducted a month or two back during the Rebellion festival. What better venue to talk about anarchy and absurdity than Blackpool's answer to the Hollywood Boulevard, the Comedy Carpet. Brought to you in glorious stereo and hungover technicolour.

Reagan Youth
Reagan Youth guitarist Paul (Cripple) Bakija talks openly and honestly about anarchy, addiction, punk and politics. Following the breakup of his band and tragic death of singer Dave Insurgent, Paul has reformed legendary New York punkers Reagan Youth to record an album in honour of the former frontman. Interviewed in traditional punk hangout Tomkins Square Park on Manhattan's Lower East Side, Paul talks about the changing face of New York and the legacy of Reagan Youth.

Andy T
Here's an interview with anarcho-punk poet Andy T. It was broadcast on Under the Pavement earlier this year. Many thanks to Andy for a totally inspiring afternoon drinking coffee and talking punk and poetry. The tracks are taken from his EP on Crass Records, Weary of the Flesh, and recent live stuff.

An Audience with Dick Lucas (Subhumans)
Say what you like about the Subhumans, but you can never get enough Dick. Enigmatic frontman Dick Lucas that is. I don't know why I made that joke – we share the same first name after all. Please disregard that puerile comment.
Dick was kind enough to give an interview for the net issue of One Way Ticket to Cubesville before the Subhumans played Manchester in December. This edited feature, containing words and music, appeared on Under the Pavement radio show on Thursday 9 December. Despite travelling long distances on little sleep and lots of alcohol, Dick is in true form and delivers a coherent and comprehensive account of his involvement in the DIY scene and sceptical views on the electronic age. The songs edited into it are: 33322 (Subhumans), New Age (Subhumans), 18 (The Mental), Ugly People (Instigators), Society (Subhumans), Point of View (Subhumans), Process (Subhumans) and Won't Ask you Again (Subhumans). Enjoy.

Darts to an End

January sees the annual Darts to an End festival at Bradford's 1 in 12 Club and this radio feature for Under the Pavement captured last Saturday's event in all its raucous glory. With interviews with Steve "the Vegan Warrior" and Geoffrey Oicott guitarist Nogs "the Chester Chopper" I promise you'll be hooked. Enjoy.

An audience with the Afternoon Gentlemen
In a special audio extension of the printed fanzine One Way Ticket to Cubesville issue 8, here is a show featuring West Yorkshire grindcore wizards The Afternoon Gentlemen. Featuring an interview recorded behind a pub in Leeds, inevitably on World Buckfast Day, it is beautifully chaotic as they are slowly circled by local characters and hopeless drunks. The show lasts just less than 20 minutes and features clips from their first few demos to capture their essence, as they struggle through a haze of cheap booze and pre-gig adrenalin to discuss important topics of the day such as alcohol, vagrancy and eating for free. Enjoy. Contact me for the genuine PAPER fanzine. In authentic BLACK AND WHITE INK.

cubesville radio broadcast: an audience with charlie harper
what do the Queen, Rod Stewart and the Rolling Stones have in common? That's right, they all feature in the rich and varied life of UK Subs frontman Charlie Harper. Cubesville caught up with the sprightly sexagenarian to chew the fat on life, longevity and a love of rocknroll.
liked the show? get One Way Ticket to Cubesville 7 for the full interview. many thanks to Dave Uglypunk for the photography uglypunk1@hotmail.com
